Eligibility

To be an SSS member, enrolled students must fall into one of the following categories:

1. Low-income, first-generation college student  - Income eligibility is determined by the federal government and can be accessed here . Upon acceptance, income will be verified. First-generation status is considered a student whose parents (biological or adoptive) did not earn a degree from a four-year university. The parents may have attended a university, but did not graduate. 

2. Student with a documented physical or mental disability - Students who fall under this category should be registered with NCCU's Student Disability Services Office or must provide documentation upon acceptance.
